Description

The site elevates up from the main road with the former dwelling commanding fantastic views out over the Atlantic Ocean, with Doolin and the Aran Islands in the distance. This is a true time capsule to a bygone era.

The site consists of at least one former dwelling and a number of old stone outbuildings, walls and its own spring well. The former dwelling and outbuildings were built with local Moher Stone and are a few of the last surviving examples of structures built using this stone and large flagstones on the roofs in the area.
